Who is Montana Jack?
Well once upon a time, a man named Bob Morin, a transplant form Boise, ID, moved to Billings, Mt to run the Red Robin. Time passed, and things changed and after awhile (ten years actually) he moved to Missoula to partner in a new restaurant there. More time passed, he met his future wife, Tijon, a Montana native who was working for Double Tree Hotels. A few more years pass and they decide to get married and take a real chance and open a restaurant of their own. So in November of 2000 Montana Jack’s opened its doors. After a couple of kids and a few more years the chance to open a store in Billings arrived, and they went for it. Now you might imagine that working together, living together and raising kids together, sounds like an awful lot of “together”. That is definitely true, but it is also what has made Montana Jacks what it is today. Bob and Tijon, together with their wonderful staff, working to ensure you have a great dining experience.
So where did the Jack come from?
Simple. Bob drinks Jacks Daniels and we both think Montana is the place to be.
Seemed like a natural fit to us. Plus it made the logo look really cool.
So what is in the future?
Well that is totally up in the air for now, but who knows, maybe we will see a string of Mt Jacks across the state.
